Performance is the expressive technique more related to me because for its value of “living – by being present -” moments and excerpts of this life with an always new perspective in which everything is really possible and real. Space-Time (the existence in awareness of the “here and now”) are concepts that may seem as trivial as to be underestimated.
Performance allows to live a part of /or all your life in its full emotional intensity, sharing it and also involving others in the same shared space-time. Unrepeatable acts of pure emotions in continuous creation, the performative act psychologically pushes to react to the emotional stimulus in the most varied ways and therefore to live freely in a space created by us for us.
We live in a world that is in a hurry to progress and that escapes from us, that pushes us to run and wears us down, taking us away from ourselves, by distracting us with accumulation and consumption. Our world is such that sometimes crushes us so much that we lose sight of the deepest but simplest meaning of the existence, and of the importance of the relationships from which it is made.
